Ergocalciferol Vitamin D2

Ergocalciferol Injection  200.000 IU

Ergocalciferol Injection 200.000 IU is a sterile liquid for administration by intramuscular injection. This medicine is a vitamin used for the treatment of low levels of phosphate in the blood, rickets and other bone disorders due to poor absorption of Vitamin D.

Ergocalciferol Injection 200.000 IU is a clear injection in 1 ml ampoules. Each pack contains 100 ampoules. Ergocalciferol Injection 200.000 IU contains ethyl oleate.

Ergocalciferol Injection 200.000 IU may be given as a single dose into the muscle or repeated daily, this will depend on your response and individual requirements.

This product may cause drowsiness. As with all medicines, side effects can occur and these may include any of the following:

Early side effects: weakness; headache; sleepiness; feeling sick; dry mouth; constipation; muscle pain; bone pain; metallic taste.

Late side effects may include drinking and passing lots of water (including at night), loss of appetite, irritability, weight loss, upset salt balance, hardening of the blood vessels, kidney stones, conjunctivitis, inflamed pancreas (stomach pains), light hurting the eyes, running nose, itching, overheating, loss of sex drive, protein in the urine, excessive urea in the blood, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart rhythm disturbance, change of mental state, calcium deposits in tissues.
